road trip
I've decided to use Wordpress for my posts about my road trip. Brooklyn to Indiana is up on there right now. Pretty short but they get longer, and better.

6,700 miles is a rough estimate
there will be campouts where i don't have points, of course. i hope gas doesn't end up being too much more than we are estimating. not excited about the lonely bus ride from San Francisco to LA, but more excited to be in San Francisco longer and not get stuck in LA. also very excited about Arizona in general.

oh, come on!
my room is in a basement, and the basement is divided into a lower and upper level (sort of, by about 2 feet). my room is in the lower level near the door to the basement of the whole building where i can stand right under the street. there is also a drain a few feet out of our basement door. i am sure this is where roaches come from. they used to show up every now and then but only when it was raining. haven't seen one in a while. josh stayed here the other night when i was at my parents' and there was a big ol' guy in his shirt when he put it on the next morning. gross. then i came back here and found that little sucker. good thing i have two good huntin' cats.
